Overview
Al Bahja is the internal procurement platform for Al Bahja Group in Oman. Staff raise requisitions, take them through General Manager and Purchase Head approval, request quotes from suppliers, compare them side by side and raise purchase orders. Local purchases, recurring daily rate contracts, freight, shipment tracking and supplier billing run in the same system.
At its centre is an AI inbox. A worker polls the shared Outlook mailbox and queues each new email, then an agent links the reply to the goods or freight RFQ or purchase order it answers, pulls quoted prices, lead times and Incoterms into structured rows, reads PO acknowledgements and objections, and drafts a reply. Nothing is sent automatically: a buyer reviews every draft.
I've been building it at Heizen since June 2026, across the Next.js staff app, the NestJS API and the email agent.
Built forAl Bahja Group's procurement team: requesters, buyers, General Managers and Purchase Heads.
