Four Freshiyo app screens: the home screen with grocery categories, a fresh vegetables list with prices, choosing a delivery time slot, and the cart with the bill.

Overview

Freshiyo is a hyperlocal grocery delivery service in selected Indian cities. Customers order fruits, vegetables, staples and daily essentials from nearby stores, and a delivery partner brings the order to their door.

I built the whole platform at Heizen: the customer app in React Native and Expo for Android and iOS, the delivery partner app, the admin panel and the warehouse management system, on a NestJS and Node.js API with MongoDB, deployed on AWS Lightsail.

Freshiyo is live on Google Play and the App Store, with 2,000+ customers and more than ₹7 lakh in revenue.

Built forHouseholds ordering groceries and daily essentials, and the store, warehouse and delivery teams who fulfil their orders.

What it does

  1. Set a delivery location, then browse groceries by category and sub-category, with pack sizes and variants.
  2. Order for instant delivery, a few hours later, or schedule a date and time slot in advance.
  3. A cart with the full bill and savings, and payment by UPI, card, wallet or cash on delivery.
  4. Live order tracking from confirmation to delivery.
  5. A delivery partner app with order details and status updates.
  6. An admin panel and a warehouse management system for orders, local inventory and delivery partners.
